Customizable Shoot Plan Template

As a photographer, you probably struggle with the back-end process of preparing for a photoshoot.  While the creative aspect of mentally putting together an incredible shoot might be easy for you, it’s the getting it all on paper and in a way that your client understands that leaves you drawing a blank.

We’ve struggled with it, too. And through our experience, we’ve put together a streamlined template that we personally utilize for every single one of our shoot plans.

And we’re giving it to you.

Think of it like this: the next time you find yourself preparing for a photoshoot, you’ll have something you can easily plug details into. It’ll be beautiful and easy to read, and every single one you create will be uniform and on-brand. Oh, and as to the “being on-brand” part - your download will be delivered as an ai file. All fonts can easily be downloaded from Adobe Fonts, and the template is 100% customizable. We've also included a psd version in case you prefer working in Photoshop. That sounds pretty good, right?

In case you’re feeling iffy, we’ve also included two examples of the plan in action, a 45-minute video tutorial walking you through the examples as well as the basics of Adobe Illustrator, and a written PDF with instructions on how to fully customize your file. As a bonus, we’re giving you information about our shoot process including questions to help get those juices flowing when brainstorming concepts and tips for communicating with clients.

We have included a PSD version of the plan at the request of photographers who prefer working in Photoshop, but we have not included instructions for that version at this time.
